"Hi!
The story about (name) has really touched me. The Hawaiians would say, the whole family helped him to be reconnected to 'aumakua, his higher state of spiritual being (God) and helped him, to be u'hane nui, to be spirit greatness - with their prayers and with their dreams. They also say, he's gone the way of the ancestors and rejoined the loved ones that went before him. This is just another way of saying, he went to heaven and rejoined with his dad and his daughter.
In fact, the bible and other holy books are our great sources for the 'old
knowledge' as given to us by what the people of different congregations call God
or Gods. But most of it seems to be 'coded' in some way or another. The
Christians 'coded' it in the bible, the Hawaiians in their language (for they

Your verse 'God is Love', I believe, comes from: 'Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love... And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.' (I John 4:8 & 16). I admit, I looked it up...I'm not so good at quoting the bible from memory anymore. I don't even know whether this is the King James translation or another.
Now the Hawaiians say: The universe is connected by Love. Love is therefore the mightiest power that exists. Only where there is Love, there can be change. The opposite of Love always turns backwards, only Love can move forward...
